Your convincing support of my platform allowed me to Y-Yield interest in running for regional office; E-Empower sorors with tools for success; and in 2020, S-Slate uniquely qualified candidates for regional office. To get what is desired, one must first be inspired…and from that inspiration, one must have determination!
I desire to lead the dynamic and talented team of sorors elected to the Southwest Regional Nominating Committee, as we work collectively to curate and present a uniquely qualified slate of candidates representing the diversity of our beloved Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Having the privilege of serving our sisterhood on the local, regional, and national levels, I am afforded opportunities to meet and engage with many intelligent, enlightened, and intriguing Delta women.
I am continually inspired by these extraordinary women whom I am blessed to call Soror! This inspiration springs from the knowledge that many of these outstanding, unsung sorors, serve Delta with competence, confidence, and creativity…yet without ceremony.
I earnestly believe that sorors with the desire and capacity to serve should be given an opportunity to present themselves to the region for consideration. As Chair of the Regional Nominating Committee, I will be determined to provide these sorors with the guidance, support, and tools needed to take the courageous steps toward elected regional leadership.
